General care
Although each generation of the Majestic Hammock may be slightly different than prior generations, there are general guidelines for care and use that will apply to each one, regardless of which specific edition you may have.
With proper care, your hammock will last you many years.

setup guidelines
Look for anchors suitable for hanging your hammock and supporting your weight.
Never use dead trees or tree limbs to hang from
In set up, make sure your Adaptor Straps are wrapped securely around your anchor, and the carabiners are closed.
Sit slowly in your hammock to make sure your hang is secure. Hang your hammock no more than 18″ (inches) off the ground.
While hammocking, remember to remove any sharp objects from your pockets, i.e. pocket knives, car keys, shoes.
Remember: using any hammock carries inherent risk. Accidents can happen. Use with caution.
UV damage causes your hammock to fade in color and become brittle which will lead to tearing. Do not leave your hammock outside year round, but keep it fresh and clean by storing it in its dual-sided stuff sack.
Store in a cool, dry space when not in use.
Children under 12 years must be supervised.
Do not hang your hammock too close to a campfire, or use smoking materials while using your hammock, as embers will easily burn holes in the fabric, leading to weak spots and potential failure of the hammock.
