Rule #1: Keep your hammock system as simple as you can, and as complex as it needs to be.
Let's face it, you don't always want (or need) a bugnet or tarp on every hang, impeding those perfect views!
The Majestic Hammock was purposely designed to be not only the most comfortable hammock ever built, but also the absolute backbone to any serious hammock camper's overall, modular hanging system. Use it entirely on it's own, or easily adapt to each unique hang by adding only what you need - external bugnets, underquilts, top quilts, and tarps - whenever conditions call for them!

Each Majestic Hammock starts with extremely durable fabric options:
- The 1.9 oz Ripstop is a durable, breathable nylon, and offers a very well-balanced blend of softness and strength.
- The 1.6 oz Hyper D™ is a slightly lighter-weight, diamond grid nylon, and was designed for superior performance and feel.
This is easy - if you want to produce a superior-quality end-product, you want to use only the highest quality materials all the way through production.

FINE CRAFTSMANSHIP
Each complete Majestic Hammock system has 50+ separate components built into it, and takes the better part of a day to create, start-to-finish. I don't cut corners or take shortcuts.
I do that to ensure that each client gets what they pay for - good design, great quality, and true craftsmanship.

RATED CARABINERS
A hammock's suspension system is only as strong as it's weakest link.
Each Majestic Hammock hangs securely using only rated carabiners.
Our current suspension system includes two lightweight, aluminum CAMP (Nano 22) carabiners. These carabiners are one of the lightest, fully-functional carabiners on the market, and the perfect match for the Majestic Hammock.
Each of these carabiners weigh in at only 22 grams, and are rated at 21 kN (approx 4700 lbs.)

Built into both sides, each Majestic Hammock has been designed with this convenient storage solution in mind. Each side has two pockets that are designed to securely hold almost all of today's current cell phone sizes, and have a top flap that helps keeps your them inside - not on the ground.
Behind each pocket is a convenient sleeve space, open to both sides, and is a perfect place to hold a rolled newspaper or magazine, or even a water bottle while you hang.

MULTI-DIRECTIONAL LAY
Each Majestic Hammock has a symmetrical cut, allowing for an unbelievably comfortable diagonal lay, with either a "legs left / head right" OR "legs right / head left"...no more having to choose.
This specific design gives a superb lay, whether you are typically a back sleeper or a side sleeper.
Note: some custom hammock manufacturers' hammocks are designed with an asymmetrical cut, based on if you are a 'left lay' only, or a 'right lay' only kind of person.
